Bald Mice is a project that initially began to take shape in October 2022. Mathieu Roy (drums/vocals) and Olivier Narbonne (guitar/vocals) met during their years of music studies in 2020. During these years, they collaborated on various musical projects, while developing their affinities. Olivier Mc Sween (guitar/vocals) and Gabriel Boucher Lemieux (bass) joined the group shortly after, finally completing the identity of the Bald Mice project, by adding a whole new creative dimension. The formation of this group was a renewal for musicians with very different artistic backgrounds which came together throughout their musical exploration. The opportunity to compose, perform and participate in the emerging musical movement allows them to expose new wave music of Quebec origin by sharing their passion with the general public. The group's original compositions feature an alternation of genres that suggest a sound unique to the group. The group's inspirations are found in Surf punk, Shoegaze, jazz, Emo rock, Indie rock/pop, alternative/progressive rock.
