Indie, Punk, Rock, Ambiant
Louis-Charles is a Quebec City band, born from the apocalyptic pandemic landscape. Their post-punk, post-rock and shoegaze sound navigates through the theme of the faintness of an era in a decomposing social body. Borrowing inspirations from artists like DIIV, Ringo Deathstarr, Karkwa and Malajube, Louis-Charles assumes his melancholy with walls of textured sounds and dissonant guitars. The quintet formed with Lou-Manuel Arsenault (guitar), Julien Moisan (vocals, flute), Gabrielle Poirier (bass), Jérémy Dufour (guitar) and Gabriel Wagner (drums) is trying to bring a new look to Quebec alternative rock scene by interweaving it with coppery and melodic hues.
