Eman has been shaping Quebec rap for more than fifteen years with a unique flow and a constantly evolving creative vision. First revealed through Accrophone alongside Claude Bégin, he later joined Alaclair Ensemble, a cult collective that toured across Quebec and Europe, earning multiple awards and releasing influential albums. In parallel, his duo Eman X Vlooper quickly made its mark: their album XXL won an ADISQ award, a GAMIQ award, and a SOCAN prize, followed by LA JOIE, which was highly praised by critics.
As a solo artist, Eman released Maison (2019), 1036 (2020), and JEFFERSON CHIEF (2021), the latter paired with a cinematic series of music videos created with GENERICTM. In 2023, he unveiled Le pouvoir de l’esprit est infini, a deeply personal album nominated at the 2024 GAMIQ Awards, where themes of family, legacy, and transmission take center stage, featuring young talents and close collaborators like his son JoBeats and his nephew ISMA.
Known for his authenticity, versatility, and artistic vision, Eman continues to expand his creative universe.
He is currently preparing a new album set for release in spring 2026, promising another powerful and inspired milestone in his artistic journey.
