Erika Hagen is one of the projects of multidisciplinary artist Érika Hagen-Veilleux. Originally from Quebec and a 2017 graduate of the École de cirque de Québec, her multifaceted practice seeks to establish dialogues between the body, music, and spoken word. Erika Hagen was born from a desire to craft sensitive poetry with a playful, unapologetic, and feminist approach. The project debuted on the streets of Old Quebec in the summer of 2023. Collaborating with director Dany Placard, Erika Hagen is currently working on her first album, set to be released in 2025.
