The synth-pop musical project Fleur de Peau was born in January of 2023. It is made up of Louis Fernandez, multi-instrumentalist and creative director, and Élie Dubois-Sénéchal, on vocals.

The duo decided to combine their strengths and creativity to create a project bigger than themselves, in honor of their shared love of art and music.

Fleur de Peau's sound is melancholic, punchy and poetic. It is a project that reflects a queer and feminist reality. They deliver a testimony to the personal and emotional urgency of life. With its reverb-tinged drum beats and robotic drum machine, Fleur de Peau's music is reminiscent of the 80s, while remaining rooted in a modern, alternative sound. In their work, you will hear brilliant synthesizers, alternating dynamic and lo-fi guitars, and much more. Without being minimalist, the arrangements do not obscure the essential.

The band released their debut album in the spring of 2024, in which each song has its own universe. Influences include electro, punk, dreampop and indie rock. In this LP, you will enjoy the caressing vocal melodies as well as the dissonant, abrasive guitar sounds.
