Funk - disco, Indie, Electro
Drawing inspiration from French electro and the funky pop of the 1980s, Fovelle delivers music that’s both danceable, catchy, and unapologetically bold. In the studio, Fovelle thrives on collaborating with singers he admires or remixing songs he wishes he had written himself. On stage, he arrives with his “Dangereux Personnages” to blur the lines between a rock concert and a DJ performance. With relentless beats, soaring melodies, and surprising arrangements, audiences dance with these multi-instrumentalists at a celebration where synths, funk guitars, and diverse voices merge into one vibrant sound.
A relentless self-producer, Fovelle has released two EPs and launched his debut album L’Enfant au briquet on May 7 at Le Ministère as part of Vue sur la Relève. His songs have accumulated over 450,000 streams on Spotify worldwide, and since their release, he has been touring across Québec, Ontario, and New Brunswick. He has opened for Lisa LeBlanc, Valaire, and Claudia Bouvette. His latest EP was nominated for Pop EP of the Year at the GAMIQ 2023 awards. In August 2024, he was named iHeart Radio’s Star of the Month, and his single Confettis climbed to the 34th position on the Top 100 Franco Mediabase chart. His album L’Enfant au briquet is nominated for Best Indie-Pop Album at GAMIQ 2025.
