Gawbé is a French-speaking alternative rock project with a slacker and dramatic edge, from Quebec City. Gabrielle Côté shares her familiar and intimate stories with an enveloping and unique voice, alongside pop rock that varies between grittiness, relaxation, and melancholic softness. After performing 50 shows across the province, Gawbé released her debut album, l’endroit l’envers, in February 2025. Produced by Vivianne Roy (Laura Sauvage, Les Hay Babies), the album sees Gabrielle sensitively exploring the dualities within herself and the world around her.
