Guillaume Laroche stands out for the richness of his writing. With a bold and technical sense of poetry, he plays with words, sounds, and rhymes in a highly versatile way.

On the eve of his second album’s release, Laroche takes us on a journey along the road that leads to his Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Along the way, we’ll encounter a few stories—and plenty of questions.

Named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Gala Régal in Rouyn-Noranda, Guillaume Laroche has performed in numerous competitions (MPPDA, Granby, St-Ambroise, Dégelis), where he has won several awards and drawn attention for his lyrics and energy. After opening for acts such as Bleu Jeans Bleu, Billy Talent, and Simple Plan, he now takes the stage with a full show of his own.

A former French teacher, he already travels across Quebec (and Canada) giving writing workshops in elementary and high schools. With nearly a thousand workshops under his belt, he hopes to keep sharing his passion for culture wherever he has the chance to stop.
