Songs, Folk, Jazz, Progressive, Classic

A singer-songwriter and performer from Bas-Saint-Laurent, Isabelle Charlot accompanies her lyrics on the accordion. Working with an ensemble of six musicians, she crafts pieces like journeys, taking pleasure in blending musical styles and artistic disciplines. Jazz, chanson, post-rock, poetry, slam, storytelling and classical music come together to form conceptual works that go beyond the traditional song format. Her professional path stands out for its interdisciplinary, feminist and regionally rooted approach.

After releasing her new album Pour éblouir la fin du monde in May 2025, she is now presenting a new show of the same name, weaving a powerful world between shadow and light. Electrifying on stage, Isabelle delivers raw, vivid lyrics carried by music that ranges from baroque to dark jazz, driven by the energy of hope-filled post-rock. Featuring lighting operated live by the musicians, direct poetic addresses and acrobatics in the audience, this new show leaves no one indifferent. This year, Isabelle Charlot has appeared notably at the Festival de la chanson de Tadoussac, opening for René Lussier in L’Anse-Saint-Jean, at the Journée de l’album québécois, and on Chants libres à Monique on ICI Musique.
