Punk
Peanut Butter Sunday is a vibrant punk band from Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova Scotia, formed by some of the region's most accomplished musicians. Drawing inspiration from key punk, emo, and post-hardcore acts (Thursday, Blink-182, Saves The Day), the quartet amplifies the power of their melodic phrasing with catchy riffs. After a standout performance in the semi-finals of the 27th edition of Les Francouvertes (2023), the band was offered several major opportunities, including performances at Montreal's Francos, the Festival de la Chanson de Tadoussac, Santa Teresa, and the Festival d’Été de Québec (opening for none other than their teenage idols, Green Day).
