Rock, Folk

The Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist Renaud Gratton is well-established on the Quebec music scene. With over 15 years of experience in both the classical and pop worlds, he has contributed to numerous projects over the years, including those of Klô Pelgag, Les Sœurs Boulay, Bernard Adamus, Philippe Brach, Michel Rivard, Les Trois Accords, and Les Cowboys Fringants.

In 2019, Renaud began composing music and jotting down ideas purely for the joy of the process. Eventually, some of these creations became the foundation for his album Touriste, released under the Spectra Musique label. Influenced by The Beatles, Beck, Wilco, Pink Floyd, and the yacht rock of the '70s and '80s, Renaud offers an eclectic, accessible universe. His work, while not lacking in depth, is tinged with psychedelia and a healthy dose of humor. His style? Irreverent "dad rock."
