Sunderloom is a creative indie-wave band founded in 2017 in Quebec City by Alinoë Schneider (lead vocals, guitars, and keyboards) and Charles Bélanger (drums and percussion). In 2018, the group expanded with the addition of Matt Moln (electric bass) and François-Gabriel Marcotte (guitars, keyboards, and electronics).

Drawing inspiration from bands such as Tame Impala, Radiohead, and Boards of Canada, Sunderloom explores the fusion of various musical styles in pursuit of a truly unique sound. Since its inception, the band has been moving against mainstream trends, striving to contribute to the evolution of music while inspiring introspection among its listeners.

Sunderloom’s world immerses us in a kind of metaphysical dreamscape, where immersive compositions and evocative lyrics create a singular experience. Through each piece, the band invites the listener on an introspective journey — an exploration of life’s challenges and the psychological states that shape our individual and collective paths.
