Code of Conduct

Towards Creating a Safe Space

Zero Tolerance Policy

To foster safer festive spaces, Le Phoque OFF has adopted a policy to prevent and address sexual violence centered on the wishes of victims. Everyone, regardless of gender, deserves to feel safe at Le Phoque OFF.

Responsible Bystanders

The best way to help create a healthier and safer environment is through each one of us. Concretely, being a responsible bystander means:

  • Acting when you see something problematic
  • Speaking up when your friends make an inappropriate or sexist comment
  • Making sure someone going home alone is safe
  • Checking in on someone if you see them crying
  • Contacting a support person if someone seems persistent
The worst thing to do is nothing.

    Support Staff

Criminology students and intervention professionals will be on-site as support staff. If you need assistance or help, these people are available for you.

    Reporting Process

Le Phoque OFF provides an anonymous reporting form.

Thank You!

Le Phoque OFF was born from listening to the urgent need of Quebec's and Franco-Canadian emerging and alternative music scene to be heard by presenters. While opportunities existed for major players, they were rare for those just starting their careers or those exploring different musical styles.

We are thrilled to have you with us for the 12th edition of our festival! Once again this year, you will be charmed by a wide array of artists with incredible talents during the festival. Nearly a hundred artists will present their best material. From February 13 to 21, come discover tomorrow's talents. Enjoy the festival!
