Raised in an Anglophone enclave in the LaSalle borough of Montreal, Canada, she adopted her stage name from the Street Fighter character, a nod to her facial features as well as her interest in martial arts.
The youngest of three, Chung grew up in a musical household, influenced by her Jamaican upbringing and her older brothers who’d listen to East Coast Rap and Southern Hip-Hop, all of which inspired her own musical ambitions.
Chung released the critically acclaimed “Chung Shui” & “Chung Shui II” with producer Cotola in 2021 & 2023, combining street narratives from a woman’s perspective with raw, dramatic beats. She followed up the EP with "See You, When I C U", a 13-track album produced by Mike Shabb and Nicholas Craven the following year. & Self Produced EP “Perdu In Peru” in 2024. As she's climbed the ranks, she's caught the attention of industry heavyweights Havoc, Conway, and Roc Marciano & more by way of her witty pen game.
