Taming Performance Anxiety: Managing Performance Anxiety for Emerging Musical Artists
This 45-minute interactive workshop is designed for musical artists who want to understand and manage their performance anxiety. Specifically tailored to address the unique challenges of the alternative and emerging music scene, it provides practical tools to reduce stress related to stage performance and networking activities.
Through a straightforward and practical approach combining real-time stress reduction strategies and mental preparation techniques (LVR – Resilient Voice and ACT – Acceptance and Commitment Training), participants will gain tools to transform their anxiety into greater stage confidence and enhanced social ease. The workshop offers accessible, directly applicable exercises to improve mental and vocal preparation before a performance or professional encounter.
